What is the Meaning of The Word "Inquilab"

I Aquila Zindabad (Urdu: اِنقلاب زِنده باد‬‎; Hindi: इंक़लाब ज़िन्दाबाद) is a Hindi/Urdu phrase which translates to "Long live the revolution!" This slogan was coined by the Urdu poet and Indian freedom fighter Maulana Hasrat Mohani in 1921.

The revolution which was started against British Rule involved many of the society. It was mandatory to keep the energy of revolution up till they get any results, hence it was used as the motivational and inspirational message. “Inquilab Zindabad”.

In the Urdu language, INQUILAB is similar to REVOLUTION and during the freedom movement of India, INQUILAB ZINDABAD became the most popular slogan of freedom fighters. Our freedom fighters published some newspapers also with the name of INQUILAB. One of the widely circulated Urdu newspapers was during the period INQUILAB from Lahore and the next one published from Bombay 1938.

INQUILAB, the 2nd one now is the biggest Urdu daily newspaper in India publishing simultaneously from Mumbai and 14 cities of north India i. e. Delhi, UP, Bihar. Its founder Editor was Abdul Hameed Ansari, a Nationalist freedom fighter and a trendsetter journalist of India. INQUILAB is now a publication of Mid-day Info Media Ltd, a company of Jagran Prakashan group. Mid-day is also a widely circulated multilingual evening daily of the company from Mumbai and other cities.
